How this works
The full story behind this benefit.
Rent is the largest line item in most household budgets, but for decades it didn't count toward your credit score. We changed that for our residents.
Every on-time rent payment is reported to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax automatically. There's nothing for you to enroll in, no extra fee, and nothing to remember.
Most renters see a meaningful credit-score lift within 6–12 months, which can translate into better rates on auto loans, credit cards, and eventually a mortgage.
How it works
Step by step.
- 1
Auto-enrolled
Every Luke Properties resident is enrolled by default — no opt-in form, no fee.
- 2
Pay rent on time
Each month's on-time payment is reported to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax.
- 3
Watch your score grow
Most renters see a measurable lift within 6 months and a meaningful one within a year.
Frequently asked
Questions residents ask about this benefit.
- What if I pay late one month?
- Late payments are not reported negatively as part of this program — only on-time payments are reported, so the worst case is a missed positive entry, not a negative mark.
- Can I add my spouse or roommate?
- Yes — any leaseholder is included by default. Authorized non-leaseholders can be added on request.
- How long until I see a change?
- Most credit models update within 30–45 days of the first reported payment.
